Pediatric and Family practice primary care and acute care- We treat adults and children from a holistic perspective utilizing nutritional science, nursing science, western medicine, nutriceuticals, pharmaceuticals, acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, herbal medicine, and psychotherapy. We use the modality that is necessary for the presenting condition based on our experience.

Acupuncture- We use this 2,000 year-old therapy for treatment of pain, anxiety, PTSD, addiction, inflammatory conditions, and others. Acupuncture is performed by a licensed acupuncturist or Acupuncture Physician.

Herbal Medicine- We blend Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern nutritional science to create formulas specific for different health condition. Our herbal apothecary offers over 100 different herbs for various conditions. All our herbs are shipped from companies that test for heavy metals and pesticides and are then identified in our office and ground into a powder for cooking as a tea.

Nutritional Counseling- We provide nutritional counseling from an integrative approach of modern nutritional science and ancient Chinese Medical Macrobiotics. This combination looks at food from the micro nutrient and biochemical perspective as well as the macro perspective of warming/cooling and yin/yang.

Psychotherapy- We provide psychotherapy from a patient-centered approach. The goal is to help our patients move past the particular mindset that is tied to distress into a mindset that is free of distress.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy- Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is a concentrated blood sample that contains high levels of platelets, a critical component of the wound healing process. Platelets contain growth factors that are responsible for stimulating tissue generation and repair.  Growth factors derived from platelets are responsible for soft tissue repair, bone regeneration, development of new blood vessels, and stimulation of the wound healing process. Harvest PRP delivers a concentration of autologous platelets and growth factors that is roughly 4-6 times greater than that found in whole blood. Unlike other products, it delivers a broad range of growth factors in the proper concentration and ratios to help optimize conditions for healing. Clinical studies have shown that application of PRP can help reduce bleeding, minimize pain, reduce infection rates, and optimize overall healing.  (

Autologous stem cell concentration therapy- We utilize the PRP protocol listed above with 3 days of stem cell mobilization to allow for greater than 6 million stem cells in the final solution.  Stem cell levels are monitored utilizing flow cytometry in-office at Shalem Healing with a FACS Calibur flow cytometer.

LDA / LDI - immunotherapy - LDA (short for "low dose allergens", or ultra low dose enzyme activated immunotherapy) is a method of immunotherapy enhanced by a minute dose of the enzyme, beta glucuronidase (dose is 10-13).  The beta glucuronidase activates extremely miniscule doses of various allergens (10-6 to 10-17) and stimulates the production of T-suppressor cells, now called T Regulator (T Reg) cells.  These cells actively "switch off" helper cells that are erroneously causing patients to be ill by misidentifying normal substances in the body to be allergens.  T-cells may live for long periods of time in the bloodstream, so LDA needs to be administered only every 2 months at first, and then less often as time passes, generally with one to three tiny (1/20 c.c.) intradermal (in the first layer of skin) injections on the inner aspect of the forearm. Low-dose immunotherapy is an expanded application of LDA treatment for the resolution of allergies and select autoimmune disorders.
