Jessica Urban joined the Shalem Healing practice in 2021. Jessica is an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber and is a family nurse practitioner board certified by the ANCC.

My Story

Background

Jessica started her higher education studying towards her Bachelors of Science in Nursing right here at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. While at UWM, she took a year overseas to study cultural and linguistics studies in Seville, Spain. After graduating with her Bachelors of Nursing in 2005, she immediately began working as an RN at a large health system in Milwaukee.

While working as an RN, Jessica's professional interest continued to grow and she received her Masters of Science in Nursing from the Concordia University Wisconsin.

Through her nursing and educational experience, she has worked with patients of all ages ranging from neonates to geriatric patients and has cared for many individuals with various chronic and acute conditions. Jessica has an optimistic outlook and believes that one person can make a difference through empathy, respect and a sensible approach to patient care that supports the practitioner-client partnership.

Practice Interests

Jessica's practice interests are in Internal Medicine, Integrative and Functional Medicine, Family Planning & Reproductive Health, and Regenerative Medicine.
